Planning for the new year is an exciting time for us at The Yi Team. Getting organized, focusing our efforts, putting it all down on the calendar. Our big project this year is Mortgage On A Mission!
Here’s the scoop: In the past you’ve probably seen a few posts and blurbs about the work we do with charities. It is something we all do behind the scenes of our every day mortgage business. Chong volunteers with Real Men Wear Pink and American Cancer Society. Erin donates time and effort to Heartly House. Derek raises funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Maryland Chapter and Children’s National Medical Center every year. We’re also active with So What Else, our schools, local causes, and many others that we like to support. [Click here to read more about charities we work with.]
In the past, we quietly posted about a donation that we were delivering, or talked to you privately at a happy hour about a fundraiser we were working on. But we never made it the face of our business. That’s changing.
This year we are making our charity and philanthropy projects a more visible part of our business. Why? To have a stronger impact on causes you care about.

HOW WE GIVE
Every month The Yi Team is dedicating 1% of our net monthly profits to a cause you care about. Add your name to the list below. We’re going to select at random a name from the list and donate 1% of our monthly sales to the charity of choice.
SPREAD THE WORD
To make a greater impact with Mortgage On A Mission, we’re inviting the monthly winner to join us for Mortgage Monday on Great Day Washington WUSA9. This will give you a greater voice to talk about your charity and how you support it. It’s also a terrific time for you to talk about how your business works to support this cause.
