We’re jumping in front of the camera on Great Day Washington WUSA9 to tell you a little bit about Jen Hansel’s battle with breast cancer, and Chong Yi’s experience with fundraising for American Cancer Society and Real Men Wear Pink, and Mortgage On A Mission.
Jen’s experience with breast cancer was a significant event for The Yi Team. It turned out to be the catalyst for Mortgage On A Mission.
WHAT IS MORTGAGE ON A MISSION?

Every month The Yi Team will be donating 1% to a charity. We work with a few charities here at The Yi Team. But we wanted this program to have a bigger impact. We wanted our borrowers to understand that every loan we process means a difference to a cause they care about. So we’re asking all friends and referral partners to add their favorite charity to the list and will have a drawing each month to select the cause that will be donated to.
Everyone is invited to participate in Mortgage On A Mission. Add your favorite charity to the drawing. No purchase necessary.
STRONGER IMPACT
To make an even stronger impact on the donation, we’re inviting the person who suggested the winning charity to join us on WUSA9 Great Day Washington to talk about it. Don’t worry! It’s a short segment that makes a big difference so be brave! We’ll coach you through it and the interviewers are wonderful.
HOW DID WE CHOOSE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY?

We’ve worked with American Cancer Society for many years. You’re probably familiar with Chong’s Real Men Wear Pink fundraisers. We wanted the launch of Mortgage On A Mission to be extra meaningful to our team, so it only made sense that we select American Cancer Society as the first recipient.
