The annual Chong Wears Pink fundraiser benefitting American Cancer Society is officially set to light up the night on Saturday, November 7th at Outta The Way Cafe – and this year is shaping up to be one of our biggest and most fun events yet.
Big News: Ted Garber is Playing This Year
We’re excited to announce that local favorite Ted Garber will be rocking the night away with live music and some of your favorite sing-along tunes. If you’ve seen Ted perform before, you already know the vibe: high energy, good people, great music, and the kind of night you don’t want to miss.
Expect a packed house full of friends, neighbors, realtors, homeowners, local businesses, and supporters all coming together for an important cause.

What Your Support Makes Possible
When you support Chong Wears Pink, you’re helping the American Cancer Society do much more than fund cancer research. ACS is there for people and their families throughout the cancer journey – providing a 24/7 helpline, free rids to treatment, free lodging when treatment takes patients far from home, trusted information and one-on-one support. They also fund research, promote early detection and advocate for better access to care.
That’s one of the reasons this cause means so much to us. Cancer touches nearly every family in some way, and the American Cancer Society turns donations into both hope for the future and practical help for people who need it right now.
When you donate, sponsor, contribute a raffle item or simply show up for Chong Wears Pink, you become part of that work too. We hope you’ll join us.
Our Goal This Year is $10,000
Since launching Chong Wears Pink in 2017, our community has helped raise over $113,000 for the American Cancer Society – supporting research, patient programs, transportation, lodging and resources for families impacted by cancer.
This year, our fundraising goal is $10,000, and we need your help to make it happen. We are currently looking for:
- Event sponsors
- Raffle prize donations
- Live auction items
- Community supporters willing to spread the word
Whether you donate a ski getaway, gift basket, sports tickets, services, experiences, or become an event sponsor, every contribution helps us create a bigger impact.

Since first connecting with Tswana and Vivienne from the American Cancer Society on the set of Great Day Washington in 2017, Chong and The Yi Team have proudly stood behind the mission to fight cancer and support local patients through the Men Wear Pink campaign.
